This page explains what we collect on southerntribe.co.za and why. It is written for how the site works today.

When you contact us

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, what you need, and your message. That information is sent to us so we can reply. We do not sell it.

When you start a page

If you use Start your page and pay online, checkout runs through PayFast. Payment is in South African rand (ZAR). PayFast handles card details under its own terms. We receive what we need to fulfil your order (for example your package choices and contact details you enter in the wizard).

Currency and country display

You can switch prices between rand, US dollars, and Australian dollars for convenience. Dollar amounts are approximate from live exchange rates. Checkout stays in ZAR.

To show a sensible default, the site may look up your country from your IP (via a geolocation service) and remember your currency choice in your browser. Exchange rates may be cached in your browser for a short time. This is for display only.

WhatsApp

If you tap a WhatsApp link, you leave our site and use WhatsApp under Meta’s terms.

Cookies and storage

We use simple browser storage for your currency/country preference and short-lived rate cache. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

How long we keep messages

Contact messages and order details are kept only as long as we need them to reply, deliver the work, and meet basic business or legal duties.
